Help bring a little festive cheer to UCLH patients

Whether you can donate products, fundraise with colleagues or make a corporate donation, your support could help make a patient’s hospital stay a little brighter.

One way to get involved is by contributing to patient gift bags. UCLH Charity is looking for comfort items, toiletries, children’s activities and baby products to share with patients over the festive season. Donations of all sizes are welcome.

Businesses can also bring their teams together to fundraise or offer matched giving. There are opportunities to join the UCLH Charity Carol Concert on 9 December, take part in Santa in the City on 10 December, or volunteer at festive station collections on 15 December. Purchasing UCLH Charity Christmas cards is another way to show your support.

• Corporate donations can help the charity reach more patients:
• 250 could provide festive treats and comfort items across several wards.
• £500 could support gifts, activities and wellbeing items for children, young people and older patients.
• £1,000 could help hundreds of patients benefit from additional comfort and care.
• £2,500 or more could support festive activities across UCLH during the appeal.

The difference a gift can make is captured by UCLH patient Lesley, who said: “The festive bag of treats has been an uplift for me on a day when an uplift was sorely needed. Please convey my thanks to all those who made this donation possible.”
