BID works with partners to improve pedestrian safety at Luxborough Street junction

A new 20mph road marking has been added to Luxborough Street as part of efforts to improve pedestrian safety around the University of Westminster’s Marylebone Campus.

The BID has led discussions with the University, Westminster City Council and Transport for London on improvements to the junction to make crossing safer for students and other pedestrians.

Luxborough Street runs between the university’s buildings at Zone 29 and 35 Marylebone Road, connecting to Paddington Street at its southern end.

The new carriageway marking reminds drivers entering from Marylebone Road of the speed limit.
