Five Minutes with Freddie Murray, Founder at Remedy Health and Performance

The Harley Street BID is made up of an array of fantastic businesses, organisations and practices.
Each month, we spend some time getting to know one of the people who call Harley Street home.

This month we’re meeting Freddie Murray, Founder of the Remedy Health and Performance.

Can you tell us a little bit about your work at Remedy Health and Performance?
At Remedy Health and Performance, we specialize in providing top-tier physiotherapy
and wellness services with a strong focus on personalised care. We offer a
comprehensive range of treatments, including physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic
care, sports massage, and personal training. What truly sets us apart, particularly in the
Harley Street area, is our commitment to delivering world-class care directly to our
clients—whether in the comfort of their homes, hotels, place of work, or in our state-of-the-art clinics located in Mayfair, Kensington, and The City. Our mission is to make high-quality care accessible and convenient for everyone, from elite athletes recovering from
injury to individuals looking to enhance their health through exercise and lifestyle
modifications. We’re with our clients at every stage of their journey, ensuring they
receive the best possible care, tailored to their specific needs.

Describe your average day.
My day is a blend of direct patient care, team coordination, and strategic growth
initiatives. I spend a significant portion of the day working hands-on with clients,
particularly athletes, focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance
enhancement. The rest of the day is dedicated to managing our clinics, ensuring our
team has the resources they need to deliver exceptional care, and exploring new
opportunities to expand our services. Every day is driven by our unwavering
commitment to helping our clients achieve their health and wellness goals. I’m
passionate about delivering a great service for every client, ensuring that each one
receives the personalised, world-class care they deserve.

How did you get to where you are today?
My journey began as a professional football player, where I experienced firsthand the
impact of injuries and the importance of effective rehabilitation. While playing, I started
studying and practicing physiotherapy, driven by my own need to recover and enhance
performance. This dual experience as an athlete and therapist gave me a unique
perspective on the value of personalised care. Before founding Remedy, I travelled
extensively, working 1-to-1 with clients across sports, music, and entertainment,
providing tailored rehab services. This experience highlighted the need for a service that
could deliver high-quality, customised care wherever the client is, sparking the idea for
Remedy. Today, our approach is deeply rooted in these experiences, ensuring that every
client receives the same level of care wherever they are in the world. My passion for
what we do at Remedy drives everything we offer, and I’m dedicated to making sure
each client’s journey is supported every step of the way.

How has Covid-19 impacted your organisation?
Covid-19 brought significant challenges, but it also reinforced the importance of
flexibility in healthcare. We quickly adapted by expanding our at-home services to
ensure our clients could continue receiving care without having to visit a clinic. This
shift not only allowed us to maintain continuity of care during the pandemic but also
highlighted the demand for convenient, home-based services. As a result, we’ve
continued to build on this model, making it a core part of our offerings. Our focus on
personalised, client-centred care has never been stronger, ensuring that every
individual receives the support they need, especially in challenging times.

What do you like most about being based on Harley Street?
Harley Street is renowned for its medical excellence and innovation, values that
resonate deeply with us at Remedy. While we don’t have a physical base on Harley
Street, we are proud to offer our at-home services to clients within this prestigious area.
The reputation of Harley Street enhances the trust and credibility of our services,
allowing us to deliver top-tier care with the added benefit of convenience. We are
deeply committed to ensuring that every client in the Harley Street area receives world-class care that meets their unique needs.

What are your thoughts on the future of the Harley Street Area?
I believe the Harley Street area will continue to thrive as a global hub for medical
innovation and excellence. As healthcare becomes increasingly personalised and
technology-driven, the area is well-positioned to lead in offering cutting-edge
treatments and services. At Remedy, we’re excited to be part of this future, continuing to
provide exceptional, client-focused care that adapts to the evolving needs of those we
serve.

How does the Harley Street BID support your business?
The partnership is invaluable in helping us connect with other leading healthcare
providers in the area and staying at the forefront of medical advancements. It facilitates
collaboration and networking, which allows us to continuously enhance our services.
Additionally, the partnership’s efforts in promoting Harley Street help attract clients who
are seeking the best in medical care, which supports our growth and enables us to
reach more people who can benefit from our at-home and in-clinic services. Our
commitment to delivering world-class care aligns perfectly with the partnership’s
mission to maintain Harley Street’s reputation for excellence.

How could a visitor to the area spend their time here?

Visitors to the area can enjoy a nice mix of sights and local spots. Take a stroll around
and appreciate the surroundings—there’s a lot of charm to soak up. For a break, grab a
coffee or a bite at one of the nearby cafes. If you’re up for it, just exploring and
discovering little spots can be a lot of fun. Harley Street has its own unique vibe, and
you might stumble upon something you really like!
