The BID is joining forces with HCA UK to offer CPR training to the local community on Friday 23 October, as part of Restart a Heart month.
A cardiac arrest can happen anywhere: at home, at work or out in the community. What happens in the first few minutes can make a difference. According to Resuscitation Council UK, every minute without CPR or defibrillation reduces a person’s chance of survival by around 10%.
Harley Street BID and HCA UK join forces for Restart a Heart
The event will offer three sessions at The Welbeck Hotel: 9–10am, 12.30–1.30pm and 4–5pm. People working across the Harley Street area can learn CPR and build their confidence to help in an emergency. Whether you work in healthcare or have never had any training, it’s a skill that could help you support a colleague, customer, patient, friend or family member.
Restart a Heart is a national campaign led by Resuscitation Council UK to help more people learn CPR and feel ready to act when it matters.
