The Harley Street BID is partnering with the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Unit to offer an essential training session for local businesses and staff.

Time: 9:30 AM – 1:00 PM
This event, conducted by CT Protect officers from the MET, focuses on the ACT Operational initiative, developed by the National Counter Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO).The training aims to enhance awareness of terrorism threats, equip participants with tools to prevent and respond to incidents, and bolster confidence when facing potential attacks. The session will include interactive discussions and a tabletop exercise, where delegates will tackle various scenarios and dilemmas both individually and as a group.

Identifying and responding to suspicious behaviour
The importance of vigilance in everyday settings
Understanding hostile reconnaissance: how potential attackers think and behave
Recognising and dealing with suspicious items
Responding to firearms or weapons attacks
This session is particularly beneficial for staff in customer-facing roles, as well as security and site managers.
