Have Your Say: Westminster Consultations – Cultural Strategy, New City Plan and Sustainable Transport Strategy

Westminster City Council has launched an online consultation inviting stakeholders, businesses residents, and local organisations to share their ideas on how the Council should shape its priorities for culture over the next five years.

As London continues to be recognised as a global cultural superpower, Westminster sits at its heart – attracting people from across the world to work, visit and live.  However, research shows that many workers, and residents do not know about or fully experience the city’s extraordinary local arts and cultural offer, despite the significant benefits it brings to wellbeing, learning, and career development.

With your input, Westminster City Council aims to create a new Cultural Strategy that allows creativity to thrive and widens access to life-enhancing cultural opportunities across the borough. An opportunity to showcase the cultural offer of the Harley Street area.

The Cultural Strategy 2026–2030 consultation is open now, and you can share your thoughts by completing a short online questionnaire by 7 December 2025. Find out more and take part here.

In addition to the Cultural Strategy, several other important consultations are currently live on the Council’s Commonplace consultation platform. These include:

  • Early Engagement and Call for Sites – New City Plan
    Closing date: 20 November 2025
This marks the first step in developing a new Westminster City Plan. The Council is seeking feedback to shape the vision, priorities, and policy framework that will guide long-term growth and planning decisions across the city.
  • Sustainable Transport Strategy
    Closing date: 8 December 2025
Share your views on how Westminster’s transport network should evolve and contribute your ideas directly on the interactive map. The new strategy will outline how the city can deliver more sustainable and accessible transport for everyone.

Members and stakeholders are encouraged to take part and have their say. You can also sign up to receive consultation alerts directly from Westminster City Council via the Have Your Say Today – Westminster City Council Consultation Hub – Commonplace
