Thesleff Group – the team behind Los Mochis, Sale e Pepe, Sale e Pepe Mare, MA/NA, LUNA Omakase and Juno Omakase – has opened Sale e Pepe Terrazza at The Langham, London, a beautifully designed alfresco restaurant that brings the elegance and escapism of the Italian Riviera to London.
A true Marylebone secret garden set in the historic courtyard at The Langham, the terrace occupies a remarkable space dating back to the mid-eighteenth century. Spanning more than 5,000 sq ft, it is one of the largest and oldest private restaurant terraces in Central London. Reimagined through the lens of contemporary Italian living, Sale e Pepe Terrazza blends timeless design, effortless elegance and impeccable hospitality to create a destination that feels far removed from the pace of the West End beyond the gates.
Designed as an all-day dining and drinking destination, Sale e Pepe Terrazza captures the casual spirit of an Italian summer spent outdoors. From leisurely afternoons beneath the sun to sunset aperitivos and elegant evenings under the stars, the terrace invites guests to slow down and embrace a more relaxed rhythm of life. Whether gathering with friends for lunch or dinner, hosting clients or simply escaping the city for a few hours, the experience is centred around connection, conversation and the simple luxury of spending time well.
The menu has been designed to capture the effortless spirit of an Italian summer, with a selection of dishes created for sharing, lingering and enjoying at leisure. Inspired by the sun-drenched coastlines of Southern Italy, guests can enjoy some of London’s best pizzas, cicchetti, vibrant seasonal salads and soft-serve ice cream, all served in a setting that celebrates the charm of outdoor Italian dining.
At the heart of the experience is an aperitivo-led drinks programme created by Thesleff Group Director of Bars, Pietro Collina, with a centrepiece ST-GERMAIN bar installation. Inspired by the rituals of the Italian Riviera, the menu features a collection of signature spritzes including the ST-GERMAIN Spritz (aka, The Hugo), Porto Cervo Spritz with taste-of-the-summer ‘melonade’ and a classic Amalfi Spritz, alongside frozen cocktails and seasonal serves such as the Spicy Watermelon Margarita and Aperol Shakerato. A carefully curated wine list, Peroni and Guinness on draft, a bespoke collection of zero ABV cocktails and a classic Caffè Shakerato complete the offering.
The terrace has been created in partnership with renowned Italian outdoor living brand Unopiù and offers a sophisticated new destination for long lunches, aperitivo hour and summer entertaining.

Furnished exclusively with pieces from Unopiù , the terrace reflects the brand’s enduring philosophy that outdoor spaces should be as elegant and inviting as those within the home. For more than four decades Unopiù has defined Italian outdoor living through its craftsmanship, timeless aesthetic and ability to create beautiful environments for gathering, entertaining and relaxation.
