Throughout July, the Harley Street Business Improvement District (BID) partnered with the Metropolitan Police and Westminster City Council Inspectors to carry out two Joint Operations as part of the Clean & Safe Streets Audit (CASSA) initiative.
The first operation was delivered in collaboration with Westminster City Council Inspectors and focused on cleaning and environmental standards across the area. The second was a joint operation with the Metropolitan Police, with an emphasis on street safety and crime prevention.
The Harley Street area was one of several across the city to participate in CASSA. These audits are designed to bring together ward councillors, key stakeholders, and the local community to assess and address key street-level issues. Areas of focus included cleanliness, highways, planning, and community safety, ensuring the things that matter most to residents and businesses are prioritised and improved.
This ongoing collaboration was led by Ashley Durling, Head of Operations and Security at the Harley Street BID, working closely with the Metropolitan Police and Westminster City Council Inspectors. The initiative reflects our continued commitment to enhancing the experience of everyone who lives, works, and visits the Harley Street area.
We thank our partners and stakeholders for their support in helping to keep our streets clean, safe, and welcoming.
