The Royal Society of Medicine will welcome Dr Puja Khajuria, known to many from BBC’s Race Across the World, for an honest and personal conversation about resilience, career uncertainty and finding fulfilment in modern medicine.
Chaired by Professor Gillian Leng CBE, the evening will explore Dr Khajuria’s experiences of training and working during the COVID-19 pandemic, navigating personal loss and maintaining wellbeing throughout a demanding medical career.

The discussion will also consider some of the wider challenges facing today’s healthcare workforce, including career progression, flexibility, work-life balance and access to wellbeing support.
The event will include an audience Q&A, followed by an exclusive networking reception with Dr Khajuria, where guests can connect with fellow healthcare professionals over complimentary drinks.
The free event is open to resident doctors, medical students, consultants, GPs, SAS doctors and healthcare professionals across all specialties.
