Investing in wellbeing this May – Mental Health Awareness Week

With Mental Health Awareness Week taking place from 11–18 May, there's no better time to reflect on how we look after ourselves and our teams at work.

As a Harley Street BID levy payer, you have free access to Seedl’s full programme of expert-led sessions throughout the month. Here’s what’s coming up.

Stress and Communication at Work – Thursday 14 May, 11:00am

To mark Mental Health Awareness Week, Seedl are hosting a special one-off webinar: ‘Stress and Communication at Work: Turning Awareness into Action’. Communication is often the first thing to suffer when we’re under pressure, and this session explores exactly how stress affects the way we listen, respond and interact with colleagues, and the practical steps we can all take to have clearer, more constructive conversations during challenging times. Delivered by three facilitators in a warm, podcast-style format. Register your place here.

More sessions to explore this month

Alongside this webinar, Seedl have a brilliant programme of sessions running throughout the month.

If you’re looking to better understand your own mental and emotional needs, ‘Mental Health and Me’ is a wonderful place to start, helping you stay positive and recognise the signs of emotional decline before they take hold. There are also sessions on Understanding and Overcoming Stress, Fear and Anxiety, Boosting Your Personal Resilience, and Mood Mastery, which aim to give you and your team the tools to manage the everyday pressures of working life.

And for something a little different, the Guided Meditation and Seated Office Yoga sessions offer a welcome moment to pause and reset.

For managers and team leaders, ‘Mental Health Essentials for Managers’ is a practical session covering how to support your team confidently and compassionately. If you’d like to explore how to create a healthier working environment more broadly, Establishing a Healthy Work-Life Balance and Productive Conversations offer great opportunities to learn more about how you can better support the people around you.

Beyond wellbeing, May’s programme also covers everything from AI literacy and leadership to project management, communication skills and financial confidence, making it a great month to invest in broader professional development too.

Free for All Harley Street BID levy payers

All sessions are completely free and designed to fit around a busy working week. A reminder that investing in your team’s wellbeing is just as important as any other business priority, and this is a great place to start.
