From Sunday 1st February, LAVO at The BoTree is set to make Sundays the most anticipated day of the week with the launch of its first-ever Sunday Roast menu, a celebration of Britain’s much-loved weekend tradition, reimagined through LAVO’s signature Italian lens.
Knowing just how much Londoners cherish a proper Sunday roast, LAVO has crafted a menu that blends comforting British classics with bold Italian flavours. Menu highlights include Roasted Beef Striploin, Corn-Fed Chicken, and Porchetta, all served with root vegetables, roast potatoes and panini semidolci, LAVO’s Italian take on tradition, served in place of the Yorkshire pudding, alongside rich jus. For those dining together, the Sunday Sharing Feast (£30 per person) brings all three meats to the table in a generous spread, perfect for long, leisurely afternoons.
Starters and side dishes showcase LAVO’s Italian influences, with dishes such as Caesar della Casa and Truffle Mac & Cheese taking centre stage as nostalgic favourites, alongside Beetroot Carpaccio with wild herbs and mushrooms, Carne Battuta al Coltello with gorgonzola and fresh radish, and Chicken Liver Pâté with strawberry marmalade and aceto balsamico. Honouring Italian indulgence, guests can also enjoy Half-Shell Oysters with limoncello mignonette.
For those seeking alternatives to a traditional roast, the menu offers something for everyone. Vegan diners are thoughtfully catered for across starter, main and dessert, while dishes such as Roasted Cauliflower with salsa verde, thyme croutons and capers, and Lobster Linguine with fresh chilli and white wine provide lighter or more indulgent options. All ingredients are sourced locally, reinforcing LAVO’s commitment to quality and seasonality.
Italian heritage runs throughout the menu, from the Porchetta, inspired by classic Italian roasting traditions, to panini semidolci, soft Italian milk bread served warm for dipping and beloved across Italy. Adding a LAVO favourite, this February sees the return of the much loved Red Velvet 20-Layer Cake.
Desserts channel LAVO’s signature style: with the iconic 20-Layer Matcha Cake – changing to Red Velvet for the month of love in February, Chocolate Croccante with gianduja mousse and candied orange, or Torta alla Mela with vanilla gelato, as well a selection of house-made gelato and sorbets.
To celebrate the launch, throughout February, guests will be able to enjoy 30% of the entire bill. Available every Sunday from 12pm to 5pm, LAVO’s Sunday Roast promises the perfect excuse to gather friends, slow down, and savour Sundays with a twist on tradition.
