This spring, Italian deli and restaurant Lina Stores has introduced a new weekday lunch and pre-theatre menu, offering exceptional value without compromising on quality or tradition.
Available Monday to Friday from 12pm to 5pm, the menu is priced at £17 for two courses and £20 for three, designed to suit everything from a leisurely lunch to a quick midweek escape or early evening meal.
Rooted in over 80 years of culinary heritage, Lina Stores continues to celebrate the rituals of the Italian table. Since 1944, the brand has built its reputation on fresh, handmade pasta, carefully sourced ingredients and a deep respect for seasonality – principles that remain at the heart of this new offering.
The menu begins with a selection of light and flavourful starters, including a crisp green salad with Tropea onion and house dressing, fried ricotta and herb gnudi served with chilli marmellata, and creamy burrata finished simply with Lina Stores’ own Sicilian extra-virgin olive oil.
Pasta, as always, takes centre stage. Guests can enjoy dishes such as Ravioli Piselli di Ricotta Tre Latte e Menta – a delicate combination of pea and ricotta with fresh mint and ricotta salata – alongside indulgent options like 30 Egg Tagliolini con Tartufo, featuring black truffle butter and Parmigiano Reggiano, or Pappardelle con Ragù di Vitello Osso Bucco, a rich, slow-cooked veal and bone marrow ragù.
To finish, desserts include a decadent dark chocolate mousse with brittle, a classic tiramisù layered with mascarpone, coffee and marsala, or a refreshing selection of sorbetti and gelati in flavours such as pistachio, passionfruit, fior di latte and blood orange.
Speaking about the launch, Head Chef Masha Rener said: “This menu is about what we do every day: roll the pasta, source the best we can find, cook it simply and feed people well. We want guests to feel that generosity whether they have an hour or an afternoon.”
The new menu is available across all Lina Stores locations in London and Manchester from 23rd March, offering a welcome addition to the city’s weekday dining scene – combining quality, simplicity and a touch of Italian warmth.
