Live wellbeing sessions to champion Mental Health Awareness Month

In support of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re proud to share that our online learning partner, SEEDL, is hosting a series of live, interactive sessions designed to promote wellbeing, build resilience, and encourage open, honest conversations around men’s mental health.

Throughout November, learners can take part in a range of practical, expert-led sessions focused on understanding mental health challenges and developing tools to manage them effectively.

Here’s what’s coming up:

3 November, 12:30pm – 12:50pm (GMT)
Unravelling Crooked Thinking in Everyday Life: This micro sheds light on common cognitive distortions and biased thought patterns that can hinder clear thinking. Explore strategies to identify, challenge and reframe these patterns for improved mental clarity and well-being.

4 November, 11:00am – 12:00pm (GMT)
Boost your Personal Resilience: Resilience isn’t just about bouncing back, it’s about staying steady and resourceful when things get tough. We offer practical tools to help you manage stress, stay grounded and maintain momentum through challenge and change.

12 November, 2:00pm – 3:00pm (GMT)
Understanding How to Manage and Prevent Burnout: This session will give you a good understanding of what Burnout is, how to recognise the signs and learn necessary skills to be able to prevent and deal with Burnout.

18 November, 2:00pm – 3:00pm & 19 November, 3:30pm – 4:30pm (GMT)
Mental Health First Aid Part 1 & 2: These sessions will equip you with the knowledge to identify those who require support and the confidence to offer assistance where appropriate, giving you skills to spot the triggers and signs of mental health issues.

19 November, 9:30am – 10:30am (GMT)
Male Menopause: Explore the often-overlooked topic of the male menopause (andropause), understand the physical, emotional and psychological changes men may experience in midlife.

25 November, 12:30pm – 13:30pm (GMT)
Mental Health and Me: This course is all about helping you to understand your mental and emotional needs so that you can remain positive and prevent emotional decline.
