OCL Vision announces the official launch of it's own Shared Care Partnership Program.
This partnership aims at building a community where OCL Vision works in synergy with primary care services such as optometrists and GPs to deliver the best possible care to patients.
With the NHS under pressure, this model allows them to work with practitioners to treat patients as soon as possible.
Sofia Carbognin, Business Development Manager at OCL Vision, commented:
“With this program, we want to give optometrists and GPs the reassurance that the patients they refer are looked after with the highest degree of professionalism and the guarantee that they will receive the best care currently available.”
The process is simple and quick.
Each practitioner can refer patients via the Referral Portal, ticking the ‘Shared Care’ box.
The booking team at OCL Vision will contact the patient as soon as possible and arrange a consultation and surgery, if needed.
After the surgery, an OCL Vision specialist optometrist will see the patient and then discharge to the referrer for a post-op check.
This way they ensure that practitioners always retain patients within their practice.
The core benefits of this partnership include:
OCL Vision is a private consultant-led clinic that offers personalised care in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of eye diseases.
The consultants are highly skilled in providing safe, tailor-made, evidence-based treatments with the highest levels of precision.
Having top-level clinical leadership combined with the latest state-of-the-art technology allows OCL Vision to provide a high standard of care. They even developed their own app, customised to remind patients to take their essential eye drops following surgery. It also provides key information related to each procedure and technologies they offer.
