The Royal Society of Medicine (RSM) is inviting clinicians across Harley Street and beyond to attend an upcoming multidisciplinary event, Aesthetic considerations of and at the menopause, focused on supporting patients through menopause and perimenopause using safe, evidence-based approaches.
The
event is taking place on Thursday 26 Feb 2026 from 2:30pm to 7:00pm.
Menopause is associated with a wide range of physiological and psychological changes, including those affecting skin, soft tissue and oral health—all of which are increasingly relevant to aesthetic and medical practice. This timely meeting will bring together physicians, surgeons and dental professionals to explore how best to address these changes through collaborative, patient-centred care.
The programme will feature expert-led presentations covering:
- Clinical insights into menopause and its potential aesthetic implications
- Evidence-based approaches to patient care in aesthetic medicine and surgery
- Updates on emerging treatments and the management of complications
- Advances in anatomy, physiology and psychology relevant to aesthetic and medical practice
In addition to the core programme, delegates will have the opportunity to present a short paper or case report or submit a poster for peer and expert review. The event will conclude with a complimentary drinks reception, offering a chance to reconnect with colleagues and expand professional networks.
The meeting is particularly relevant for:
- Members of the RSM Section of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery
- Members of related RSM Sections, including Dermatology, General Practice with Primary Healthcare, Geriatrics and Gerontology, Odontology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Plastic Surgery, Surgery, the Venous Forum and Students
Non-members are also warmly welcomed. However, RSM membership offers excellent value, including free access to all medical scientific events, complimentary access to the Journal of the RSM, and opportunities to connect with peers across specialties.
