TfL (Transport in London) has recently completed works to enhance the customer experience and presentation of the historic Regent’s Park Station on the Marylebone Road.
The station welcomes over 2 million users annually and is one of the principal stations in the Harley Street footprint and is close to entrances of the Royal Regent’s Park.

The works have included the restoration of the beautiful leaf and flower motif original 1906 Art Nouveau tiles designed by architect designer Leslie Green. Alongside cleaning, redecoration of the station entrances, refurbishment of the external safety railings has taken place.
The two iconic roundel signs on Marylebone Road are now in the final stage of refurbishment and will be reinstated on site later in the summer remade to the original underground typeface designed in Johnston font lettering 1938.
The BID is very pleased to be working with TfL on the heritage stations, preserving precious heritage and celebrating the district’s unique assets, an key ambition of our strategic Public Realm Masterplan. It also supports TfL with its 2026 Business Plan ambition to increase station accessibility for the benefit of all customers.
