Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the Regent’s Park Music Festival brings music, culture and community together in one of London’s most beautiful green spaces.
From 21 June to 22 September, the festival will host 45 free concerts on the park’s iconic bandstands, alongside a special programme of ticketed events in the enchanting St John’s Lodge Secret Garden from 10–12 July.
This hidden garden, located just off the Inner Circle near Chester Road, was originally part of St John’s Lodge, one of the park’s two private villas built in 1818. While the lodge remains privately owned, the garden is now managed by The Royal Parks and is only occasionally opened for intimate musical and theatrical performances.
The festival aims to make live music accessible to everyone, encouraging visitors and local communities to enjoy the tranquillity of Regent’s Park while discovering outstanding musical talent. This year’s programme includes musical theatre, opera, classical performances and family-friendly events, with ticketed performances remaining highly affordable.
In 2025, the festival welcomed approximately 26,000 attendees and featured more than 1,200 musicians. The festival is proud to have Sir Karl Jenkins CBE as its patron, and he will make a special guest appearance during the Magical Musical Evening on 12 July to conduct a movement from his much-loved work, Palladio.
