2020 will be remembered for one thing – Covid-19. Whilst vigorous debate continues over so many aspects of the virus, there are a few things we do now know for certain. Similar to other viruses that attack our respiratory system in the first instance, Covid-19 can be an unpleasant disease to contract, it is therefore worth following all the guidance to minimise the risk of contracting it in the first place. Covid-19 can affect many body systems and in some individuals cause severe complications and there is increasing evidence that some individuals suffer from so called ‘long Covid’ which is characterised by persistent symptoms many months after contracting Covid-19. These are worrying times, so we have created two brand new Health Assessments: Pre Covid-19 and Post Covid-19.
Echelon Health’s Pre Covid-19 Health Assessment
Our Pre Covid-19 Health Assessment is for those who have not contracted Covid but are concerned about it. It is very sensible to know as a baseline, whether you have underlying health conditions of which you are not aware, and which would materially increase your risk of both contracting Covid-19 and also developing respiratory and cardiovascular complications should you catch it. Knowing what your risk is before you contract the virus means you may well be able to do something about it and be better prepared.

Echelon Health’s Post Covid-19 Health Assessment
Our Post Covid-19 Health Assessment is for those who have had Covid-19 yet exhibit on-going symptoms and wish to know whether these are due to complications of Covid-19 or the exacerbation of pre-existing, underlying health conditions of which they were not aware. It is possible that you have both and we can distinguish between the two for you.
We can’t change the fact you have had Covid-19, but this assessment will determine the direct consequences of the disease, we can then devise a treatment plan and refer you to further specialists if necessary.
