Harley Street will celebrate International Women’s Day 2025 with a series of inspiring events, recognising women’s achievements and raising awareness of key issues impacting their lives.
Breakfast Celebration at Harley Street – 5th March
On Wednesday, 5th March, a special breakfast event will take place in partnership with HCA Healthcare UK, Lina Stores Marylebone, and the Marylebone Project. The event will honour the remarkable women of Harley Street and their invaluable contributions to healthcare and the community.
HCA Healthcare UK will feature two leading consultants offering insights on women’s health:
• Fiona Tsang-Wright, Consultant Breast Surgeon
• Sheila Radhakrishnan, Consultant Gynaecologist
Representatives from the Marylebone Project will also speak about their vital work supporting women experiencing homelessness and crisis in London.

St Marylebone Parish Church Event – 7th March
On Friday, 7th March, St Marylebone Parish Church will host an International Women’s Day event from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Samworth Hall. The focus will be on Pregnancy, Labour, and Motherhood, honouring the resilience and strength of women.
Speakers will include specialists from the NHS, Suzanne Hyde, Director of Clinical Services at St Marylebone HCC, and The Revd Katy Hacker Hughes. Discussions will cover the joys and challenges of pregnancy and labour.
Additionally, St Marylebone Parish Church will launch a Lenten appeal to raise funds for Murgwanza Hospital’s labour ward in Tanzania, strengthening its partnership with the Diocese of Kagera.
